Description of Program: Grant funds are being used as a partial match to a $125,000 challenge grant from MacArthur Foundation that will allow HDC 3 to lead a Pennsylvania Initiative on Housing Preservation.  This opportunity is significantly increasing HDC 3's organizational capacity to become a major shaper of state housing policy.

Organizational Mission: To assist in the development of safe, high quality affordable housing for low and moderate income working families, seniors, and persons with handicapping conditions, provide supportive services, provide a weatherization program for poverty level families, and advocate the need for affordable housing and issues facing low-moderate income families.
