Beth Shalom (a program of Tabor Community Services)

Description of Program: Beth Shalom will open a five-apartment home for mothers who leave prison.  This grant will support the salary of a program coordinator and case manager who will reunite the mothers and children and teach the skills necessary to stay out of prison in the future.

Organizational Mission:

Beth Shalom: Beth Shalom House of Peace is a structured, residential program that equips single mothers who leave prison.  It helps them learn positive parenting and life skills and to pursue financial responsibility through schooling and employment.  Christian faith is at the core of the guiding principles, values, and objectives of the program. 

Tabor Community Services: To rebuild communities by helping families find housing and financial solutions.
