A number of active developments in the past few years have allowed the Community Foundation to embrace a new vision of community leadership. These developments include an increase in staff size, significant asset growth, more focused grant-making and a refinement of our mission & core purpose. Ultimately, these changes have led to the creation of a new strategic platform that allows us to maximize our impact in the community.
After our Board of Directors completed an 18-month strategic visioning process in 2007, they implemented an “opportunities based” strategy, redefining how we invest our human and financial resources to meet our core purpose of Creating Extraordinary Community.
By exercising this strategy to guide our daily efforts, we will meet our commitment of acting proactively and collaboratively to make a significant impact for generations to come. |
